The CARTER Family in general

Michael sent me a 'descendants of' register for the Carters, overlapping and extending what I had already gleaned from various places. Of course, that set me off on a treasure hunt through the family to fill in gaps. I now know that if one is searching for a marriage of a Carter descendant, and one of the potential spouse candidates is also a Carter descendant, preferably a cousin, then chances are that you have lucked onto the correct one.

Cases in point:
Sarah Jane HEAL, d/o Joseph Heal and Isat Carter, married James Frederick Carter, s/o Thomas Carter and Elizabeth Edwards(?).
Frederick William HEAL, s/o Joseph Heal and Isat Carter, married Hepzibah Louisa Carter, d/o Charles Carter and Louisa White.
Common Grandparents - Thomas Carter and Sarah Hare Paver. Thomas, Charles and Isat - siblings.
